Heather Lane is an entrepreneur, artist and mother. Lane attended a Performing Arts School with focus on vocal performance. In 2001, she moved to NYC where she pursued her love of music and eventually began a career in marketing. She started a successful marketing and promotions company in NYC before relocating to Miami Beach, Florida in 2006 where she rekindled her love for the Arts. Lane began a journey as a textile artist for the next 10 years while offering her unique designs of wearable art in luxury resort destinations worldwide. In 2007, she became a mother to her first born daughter, Kaia Bella. In 2015, Lane’s youngest daughter, Zea Joli, was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma Cancer at just 3 months of age. This life-changing event inspired a new path and through this journey Whimsy World was born. Heather Lane is currently the Founder and Executive Director of Whimsy World, a Miami-based 501c3 non-profit that supports children in need through the power of the Arts and wellness.
